Full front or
full car PPF?
Paint protection film does not have to be all or nothing. Here is exactly what each level of coverage protects, so you can match the film to how you drive and what you can spend.
The Short Answer
Most people choose
full front.
Stone chips are not spread evenly across a car. The front takes the vast majority of hits, because it is the part pushing into the road. That is why full front protection is our most popular option.
Full car coverage protects every painted panel. It suits prized cars, special colours, matte finishes and owners who want the whole car to stay as it is today.
Side By Side
What each level covers.
| High-wear areas | Full front | Full car | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Panels covered | Bonnet leading edge, door handle cups, door edges, loading lip, side skirts | Full bonnet, front bumper, fenders, mirrors and headlights | Every painted panel |
| Stone chip protection | Partial | Strong, where most chips land | Complete |
| Light scratches and scuffs | Covered areas only | Front of the car | Whole car |
| Relative cost | Lowest | Middle | Highest |
| Best for | A budget friendly start | Most daily drivers | Prized cars and colour changes to matte |
Our Advice
How to decide.
If you do a lot of highway driving, start with full front. It covers the panels that take the hits at speed.
If the car has a special or hard to match colour, you plan to keep it for many years, or you want a matte finish over gloss paint, full car coverage is worth considering. Matte film only gives an even look if every panel is covered.
If budget is tight, high-wear areas still stop a lot of the everyday damage from rings, bags and shoes.
Mix And Match
Add ceramic on top.
Whatever level of film you choose, a ceramic coating over the film and the uncovered panels adds gloss and makes the whole car easier to wash.

Answers
Coverage questions.
What does full front PPF cover?
The full bonnet, front bumper, fenders, mirrors and headlights. These are the panels that take most of the stone chips.
Is full car PPF worth it?
It is for prized cars, special colours, matte conversions and long term ownership. For most daily drivers, full front gives the best value.
Can I add more coverage later?
Yes. You can start with full front and add other panels later. We match the film so the result stays consistent.
Will I see a line where the film ends?
We place edges along natural panel lines and wrap edges where the panel allows, so they are very hard to notice.
How long does each option take?
Full front protection is usually a day. Full car coverage takes longer. We confirm timing with your quote.
